my country's new materials industry started later than foreign countries. In the early stage of the industry development, it actively introduced foreign advanced technologies through the "market for technology" method, which made the overall marketization degree of the industry high. In the current pattern of my country's new materials industry, foreign-funded enterprises still maintain a relatively prominent competitive advantage, and the industry has formed a three-tier competition pattern. The first echelon is mainly composed of foreign-funded enterprises, with rich industry experience, complete industrial foundation, high equipment technology level, and strong sales ability. The first echelon is mostly composed of European, American and Japanese enterprises, and American enterprises lead the industry; the second echelon is the leading domestic industry enterprises, with strong funds, policy support, early market entry, equipment technology level with scale, strong technical accumulation and talent reserve, and the second echelon is mostly state-owned enterprises; the third echelon is mainly composed of many small and medium-sized enterprises, and the fields involved are mostly basic materials, and the competition is particularly fierce. Among aramid materials and their products, the aramid series products of DuPont Company of the United States occupy the majority of the global market share and monopolize the high-end application areas of aramid. Although domestic aramid research has begun to take shape on an industrial scale, the application of domestic aramid products still remains in the mid- and low-end fields. There is huge room for development in the domestic substitution of aramid products in terms of market capacity and demand.
