Features
High Strength and High Modulus
Para-aramid fibers have a strength more than five times greater than steel, yet they are very lightweight. As a result, para-aramid felt exhibits excellent tensile strength and toughness.
High Temperature Resistance
Para-aramid fibers have outstanding heat resistance, typically able to withstand temperatures as high as 400°C, and some varieties can endure even higher temperatures. This makes para-aramid felt particularly suitable for high-temperature environments.
Chemical Resistance
Para-aramid felt is highly resistant to most chemicals such as acids, alkalis, and solvents.
Lightweight and Abrasion-Resistant
Despite its high strength, para-aramid felt is lightweight, which makes it ideal for applications that require both strength and weight reduction. It also has excellent abrasion resistance.
Excellent Electrical Insulation
Para-aramid felt has good electrical insulation properties, making it suitable for use in electrical equipment as an insulating material.
The aramid non-woven fabric itself is flame retardant and no need to pass flame retardant additives. This para-aramid non-woven fabric has better high temperature resistance than aramid blended non-woven fabrics. It can run for a long time at more than 200 ℃, does not decompose or melt at 500℃, After 100 hours at 200℃, it can still maintain 75% of the original strength.
This para-aramid non-woven fabric has high strength and cut resistance. The specific strength is 5-6 times that of steel wire, the specific modulus is 2-3 times that of steel wire or glass fiber, and the weight is only about 1/5 of that of steel wire.
It has very good thermal insulation properties and can be used as thermal insulation materials for industry and automobiles, as well as thermal insulation layers for clothing. Good thermal stability.
The abrasion resistance of para-aramid is better than that of meta-aramid, and its superior abrasion resistance in industrial applications is more prominent, durable and long service life. Corrosion-resistant, can be used for a long time in special. Different fabric weights and thicknesses have different cut resistance and abrasion resistance.
