Aramid knitted fabric refers to knitted fabric woven with aramid fiber yarn. Aramid fiber is a high-performance fiber with excellent properties such as ultra-high strength, high modulus, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, light weight, insulation, anti-aging, and long life cycle. It is mostly used in composite materials. There are two types of aramid: short fiber and filament. The fiber itself is light yellow.
The characteristics and performance of aramid knitted fabric are mainly determined by aramid fiber. It is mainly used for fireproof clothing in the clothing industry. Because it is an inherently flame-retardant fiber, it does not require flame-retardant finishing.
